This anonymous interview is with a public librarian at a library with more than 200 staff members. I designed the survey so that participants are not required to answer any of the questions, trying to make it easier and more attractive for people to respond. This person chose to answer the multiple choice questions and only one of the open responses. S/He did not indicate in what hiring capacity (if any) s/he had worked. I will post another, meatier response today so no one feels shorted.
