This 2 page resume was submitted by a job hunter who says,
I will generally be applying for Librarian I positions, as well as Library Assistant positions in public libraries. I’m also interested in museums and will also be applying to positions in collections management.
To submit your resume or CV For Public Review,
- send it as a Word document, PDF, PNG or JPEG to hiringlibrariansresumereviewATgmail.
- It will be posted as-is, so please remove any information that you are not comfortable having publically available (I suggest removing your address and phone number at a minimum).
- Please include a short statement identifying if it’s a resume or CV and
- describing the types of positions you’re using it for (ie institution type, position level, general focus).
- Finally, you will also need to confirm that you agree to comment on at least five other posted resumes.
This looks pretty good, one suggestion I have is to format the dates so they all align to the right, giving them a more streamlined look. Otherwise, it is simple and yet still includes all the relevant experience and education. Good luck!

I would second Jesse’s comments about aligning the dates. Also, depending on what kind of jobs you are applying for, you could reconfigure some of the details to highlight your museum experience. One easy way to do this would be to add a summary at the top and customize it for positions you will be applying for. All in all, a very nice resume.
